I've mentioned this before, but we have a serious shoe problem in this house. There is plenty of shoe storage in our closets, but that's not where the shoes live. No, they live by the front door.
The pile of shoes isn't alone though, it's always kept company by an ever-changing pile of tools that need to go out to the garage and a couple of backpacks. It's important that disorganization doesn't get lonely.

Rustic Glam Foyer Light
A couple of weeks ago Adam and I made this light fixture for our front porch...
We actually made two that day, the second was left plain (no frosted glass or metal) and was for the entryway. I wanted the two fixtures to be the same, but different. A Painted Front Door
So....front doors. It's one of the first things people notice about your house, one of the first thing that tells visitors anything about the people who live inside.
