Meet Virginia

Today a first is happening here at Domestic Imperfection…I’m having a guest poster! Normally I shy away from this sort of thing but I really wanted y’all to meet Virginia who writes over at LiveLoveDIY. Now I don’t know if she wears high heels when she exercises, if her daddy wrestles alligators, or if she only drinks coffee at midnight…but I do know that she does some beautiful (and cheap!) room makeovers. Just looking at pictures of her home  makes me feel calm, organized and peaceful.  Almost peaceful enough to make me forget about my sink full of dishes the loads of puffed rice hanging out in my rug….almost.  Anyway, y’all are going to love her.

Hi everyone! I’m Virginia, the gal behind LiveLoveDIY…a little blog about living, loving, and creating! I’m a southern gal, newlywed, thrift store lover, and new homeowner who spends my days turning our 1970’s house into a home. I believe in making the absolute best out of what you have, and doing it all for pennies on the dollar! Ashley asked me to share some of my projects with her lovely readers, and I am so honored to be able to do so!
I thought I would share some of my favorite rooms (all of which I’ve created for only a few hundred dollars!)  and then follow that up with a few of my favorite projects.
When we bought our house, it was soooo outdated and dark, and with tons of paint and elbow grease, I’ve slowly redone every room over the past 2 years! You can visit the link below each picture to see the full story on each room.
and now for a few of my favorite projects! (You can see the full tutorial for each project by clicking on the link below each photo.)
I hope you’ve enjoyed this little peek into my world! I hope you’ll stop by our blog or Facebook page and say hi! I love to meet new people who love DIYing and decorating as much as I do! And a big thank you to Ashley for allowing us to grace her amazing blog today!
